From Brian: This is an instrumental track from Qualiå, the ambient album I made a year ago.

I made this album over the span of a weekend last Christmas up in a cabin that I go to every winter... I do a retreat in a very quiet, phone and internet free spot. During this time, words felt rather overwhelming so I just ended up documenting the feeling of being very alone and having no distractions through sounds.

This track is "about" the turning point when you go from freaking out about being isolated to finding a groove and feeling the flow of inspiration and excitement. I recorded stepping sounds from a walk I took and then used that as my metronome.
